Mini Christmas Shopping

My Dad's birthday is Thursday, and my nephew Callum, Rick's oldest boy, birthday is Wednesday. Rick's fortieth birthday is a week from Friday. This is about half the shopping I do for Christmas, so it felt very much like the holidays (not the President's Day holidays, the Christmas holidays). I followed my Christmas shopping routine, I went to the Galleria first, and walked the whole mall to get ideas. Callum's was easy, I found something for him in the first couple of stores. I bought myself a new wallet and was shopping for tennis shoes before I knuckled down and got to business. I had to go from the Galleria downtown to find something for my Dad, then back to the River Oaks area to find something for my brother.

My friend Brian Camfield will be in town this weekend, and we're getting together on Sunday. It will be fun seeing him (here's a picture of Brian) now that he's been married for a couple of years.
