Daylight Saving Time starts today

Daylight Saving Time starts today. If it seems earlier than ususal, that's because beginning in 2007 there is three more weeks of Daylight Savings Time, it starts two weeks earlier and ends one week later, to line up more with how the rest of the world does daylight savings (it's called Summer Time in Europe.) For more information about daylight savings, see the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology site here (very dry) or the Web Exhibits site here. Even more dry is the U.S. Naval Observatory Astronomical Applications Department's site here. And of course, Wikipedia has a nice write-up here.
