A chronology of my life

1964 - I am born, to much rejoicing
1965 - My brother Eric (Rick to us) is born
1969 - Our family moves to Brussels, Belgium
1970 - We move into our house in Waterloo, Belgium, my brother Aaron is born
1971 - I skip second grade, going directly from first into third
1974 - We move to Quincy, Illinois for a year
1975 - We move to Dallas, Texas, my sister Kira is born
1981 - I graduate high school and attend the University of Texas at Austin
1986 - I hire on as an engineering assisstant at 3DInternational
1989 - I hire on with FERA as a CAD draftsman
1991 - I return to school at Louisiana Tech University
1993 - I graduate from Louisiana Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, hire on with FERA Corporation as a Corrosion Engineer, to much rejoicing
1994 - I moved into a rented house in Huntwick with three other guys
1995 - I get promoted at FERA to Project Manager
1996 - I decide to move downtown to improve my social life. It improves, to much rejoicing
1997 - I change jobs, leaving FERA and moving to El Paso as a Principal Corrosion Engineer
1998 - FERA goes out of business (coincidence? perhaps...)
2001 - I register my first domain, hevle.net
2002 - I move to a rental house in Bellaire
2003 - I start my website hevle.com and shortly thereafter this blog
2004 - I buy the house in Bellaire
2005 - I change jobs, moving to Enbridge as a Senior Corrosion Engineer
