Twitter

I've been experimenting with Twitter, take a look at the box to the right underneath my picture. The one labeled Twitter. Twitter is a site that allows you to send a text message from your phone, type a message from the Twitter site, or send an instant message with updates about moments in their lives. Someone used this analogy: if a blog is email on the internet, Twitter is IM on the internet. I've been experimenting with sending messages from my phone and from the web site (I don't use IM enough to always have it open.) I've always wanted a very quick and easy way of putting short messages on the site, and I think this is it. Until I get fired for sending too many text messages.

You may notice that the date and time display of my messages is messed up. That's because the scripting on my server isn't working right, and I'm going to look into it when I get a few minutes.
