Meet the New Job (Same as the Old Job)

I gave notice at Enbridge last week, I'm going to go back to El Paso and the old job I left two years ago. I'm a little past the excited stage, and into the "did I do the right thing?" stage right now. On the positives, the EP job fits better into my technical strengths, and I like working for a larger company. On the negatives, I'm giving up my 9-80's, paid-for parking (about $150/month), and about two weeks of vacation. El Paso is literally right across the street from Enbridge, so the commute remains the same.

Today is the fourth anniversary of this blog, seems like I've been doing it a lot longer.
