Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is a Grammy Award-winning, American pop singer, dancer, songwriter, actress, and author who proved that she was a true entertainer in 2007. From a high-profile divorce in which she, against great odds, came out looking like the least mature and least fit parent of the two, to partying with Paris Hilton and Linday Lohan (where against great odds she came out looking like the least mature and least fit parent of these two as well), to flashing photographers just about every possible body part, to a brief (24 hours) stint in rehab, to shaving her head to avoid drug testing, to several more brief stints in rehab, to losing custody of her kids, to attacking a paparazzi vehicle with an umbrella, to being charged with misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving without a license, to being held for psychiatric evaluation, to having her visitation rights to her kids suspended indefinitely, to being put on 5150 Involuntary psychiatric hold, to being under temporary conservatorship of her father and losing control of her assets, she was entertainment personified in 2007.



Spears is the second recipient of the annual hevle.com Person of the Year award. Finalists for this award in 2007 were Ms. Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Jessica Simpson.
