50 questions

I stole these questions from cockeyed.com and changed all the answers (and a couple of the questions).  There are six sets of 50 questions.  See the bottom of the pages to navigate to the other sets of questions.  If the questions sound weird, they were directed at Rob Cockingham back in 2000, and not at me.  See them here:

twenty questions (updated 4/5/05)

Q: What 3 cd's would you take to a desert island?

A: Time Out by Dave Brubeck, Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, and something with a female voice, maybe Norah Jones, maybe Emmylou Harris, maybe Alison Kraus.

Q: What's the best compliment you've ever received?

A: Doesn’t immediately come to mind.  I don’t take compliments well.

Q: If you had to make a sitcom, who would you cast to play your family?

James Garner would be Dad, (young) Elizabeth Taylor would be Mom, Tom Cruise would be Rick, Anthony Edwards would be Aaron, and Cathy Griffin would be Kira.

Q: Is there anything you're looking forward to doing?

A: Going to bed.

Q: Do you have anything you like about yourself that most people consider a flaw?

A: My looks and my personality.

Q: How would you like people to think of you?

A: Funny.  Smart.  Nice.

Q: What's the one invention that's made your life better?

A: TiVo

Q: Do you ever, or have you ever, considered a career change?

A: If I won the lottery, I would.

interview with drew

Q: Drew, why a personal web page?

I don’t know, it’s been a project that I’ve wanted to do for a while; to learn HTML, to put out there some information about some of my interests.  I really don’t want a vanity page, and I’m going to try to put some real content out there.  You know, I hate those pages that say, “Hi, this is me, I like to do stuff, here’s my wife and kids.…”

Q: So what’s your background with computers?

I’ve probably worked on a computer every day for the last fifteen years with very few exceptions.  I first started programming in high school in 1979, using Basic on an Apple IIe.  I’ve had a laptop since 1993.

Q: So what does a computer geek like you have as wallpaper?

(Laughs) Right now, Underdog.  I used to put together these themes with custom graphics, and I even recorded a sound scheme with bass guitar, but I’ve got the standard Windows Classic theme.  No sounds.
