houston restaurants

I dine out a lot because I'm single and because I travel a lot.  I love to cook, but it's difficult to cook for one, you end up eating the same meal four or five times.  Houston is one of the best places I've been to dine out in the US, it has an extremely diverse community, and you can find virtually any time of cuisine.  Since I live in town I'm close to most of it.  At my last house, I made a list of the restaurants within a mile of my house, and ended up with over 60!  My new house is in more of a residential neighborhood, so there are less restaurants that close, but I have discovered a couple of treasures nearby, like Tio Pepe, a Spanish restaurant, and of course the Bellaire Broiler Burger, the best hamburger since the old GM Steakhouse in Austin.
